Job Overview:  

As an Information Technology Consultant for Agilarc, LLC, you will use your technical, analytical, data, and application development skills to deliver effective technology solutions to our clients. In this role, you will work with client stakeholders and Agilarc project teams to assess business needs, design solutions, develop and integrate applications, model and manage data, and support implementation efforts. 

You will apply best practices in data engineering, data integration, data modeling, application development, and systems analysis to help clients improve business processes and technology capabilities. You will also be encouraged to explore new technologies and contribute to the growth of Agilarc’s consulting services and solution offerings. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with Agilarc and client team members to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and define technical solutions  
  • Work within an Agilarc project team and follow an Agile approach to deliver solutions that provide value to clients 
  • Design, develop, test, and implement technology solutions, including applications, databases, integrations, and reporting/data solutions 
  • Perform data modeling, database design, and data analysis to support business and technical requirements 
  • Develop and support data engineering and data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, APIs, and system-to-system integrations 
  • Assist with application development, configuration, enhancement, testing, and deployment activities 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, data mappings, process flows, and end-user documentation 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend appropriate solutions 
  • Communicate effectively with business and technical teams to present findings, demonstrate solutions, and support user adoption 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, data platforms, and consulting best practices 

Qualifications:  

  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology consulting, systems analysis, application development, data engineering, data integration, or related technology roles 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with data modeling, database design, and relational databases including SQL and working with structured and unstructured data 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration methods and tools including cloud platforms 
  • Experience with application development, scripting, or software configuration using modern development tools and technologies 
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs 
  • Experience developing, testing, documenting, and supporting technology solutions 
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to communicate with business teams to elicit requirements and demonstrate solutions 
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team 
  • Ability to work and attend meetings during business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm EST)

Education:  

  • Highly preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related  
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
